Our Community – Susan's Home
Susan's House is an organization dedicated to rehabilitating at-risk youth through a combination of artistic, occupational, and emotional training, along with teaching life skills. The organization was founded in 2002 in memory of Susan Kaplan, who dreamed of helping young people through art. The youth learn and work on creating beautiful glass, ceramics, and jewelry products, and they receive wages for their work. A dedicated team of artists, volunteers, and therapists guides the youth throughout their work and learning process.
